Bill Gates has officially been given an honorary doctorate from Harvard - his alma mater (briefly) before he dropped out to pursue the founding of his company Microsoft, now the world's largest software maker. Mr. Gates is leaving his full-time post at Microsoft next year to give more time to The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation he runs with his wife and he felt he needed a degree on his list of accomplishments. Mr. Gates is living proof that even if you are a drop-out, you can still touch the stars and achieve world dominance provided you're willing to work hard. Now it goes without saying, if you've never heard of Bill Gates, you should stay in school.
