The TouchCam N1 is a new Skype-certified HD Webcam from FaceVsion certified by Skype that features an embedded H.264codec chip and dual microphones, that support beam forming techniques. The TouchCam delivers synchronized, 720p HD superior-quality video over a broadband internet connection.
The webcam includes a flexible universal base that fits any monitor and has a USB to computer interface. It is certified for Skype for Windows 4.2 and will be enabled for other instant messaging apps soon.
FaceVsion unveiled the TouchCam N1 at CES 2010 and will offer the HD webcam for about $130.
