60s Inspired Supercars

Pininfarina 'Golden Ferrari' Based on '65 Spyder

A few Pininfarina automobile design engineers went to see a short film called “Toby Dammit,” which featured a 250GT NART Spyder and designed this one-of-a-kind mystery Ferrari called 'The Golden Ferrari.'

Industry sources claim that it could be based on the Ferrari 599 GTB, but its style revives the 1965 Ferrari 250GT NART Spyder, which was originally designed by Modena-based Fantuzi for Luigi Chinetti, Ferrari's North American importer.

Regardless, the car is simply stunning. It was purchased by Wal-Mart's CEO, Rob Walton; the amount undisclosed.
