Wife carrying is a competition that originated in Finland. In it, husbands try carry their wives through an obstacle track in the fastest time.
If this is something that you would like to try there are many popular carries. These include the piggyback, fireman's carry and the Estonian-style, (whereby the wife hangs upside-down with her legs around the husband's shoulders, while holding onto his waist).
If Finland is too far, there are other race located in Maine, Michigan and other countries.
In Finland, the prize is dependent on the wife weight in beer.
Fabulous!
