President Barack Obama has had an official Flickr account for a long time, but now the White House is getting in on the photo sharing action with The Official White House Flickr channel.

Within a few days, the White House has shared about 300 photos chronicling the Obama presidency at the White House.

The pictures range from President Obama playing with a football and practicing his golf stroke with Vice President Joe Biden to White House officials trying to protect their shoes from Bo, the presidential dog. Food bloggers also get a sneak peek at the snacks and food plates that are served at White House events.
