Nicollette Sheridan Cut From ‘Desperate Housewives'

‘Desperate Housewives’ creator Marc Cherry has figured out a way to save his show some money: Axe Nicollette Sheridan’s character. Sheridan, who’s expressed her discontent with the show before, will have her character killed off in tonight’s episode.

As Marc Cherry tells TV Guide, “Edie’s already slept with most of the guys on the street and has caused about as many problems as she could. There has been tremendous pressure put on me to cut costs.” That said, it seems that cutting out Nicollette Sheridan’s character was the easy choice to make.
