Conficker Computer Worm Expected to Wreak Havoc on April 1

April Fool’s Day would sure be a terrible day for a widespread computer virus outbreak, but that’s the date the Conficker computer worm is scheduled to wreak havoc.

Authorities estimate that the Conficker computer worm has infiltrated about 10 million Windows computers throughout the world; according to the Dallas Morning News, on April 1, these PCs will allegedly all “phone home” to a central computer.
