Quirky Solar Balcony Lights

Bird-Legged Glowing Globes Are Eco-Friendly Eccentricity

How cute would a row of these solar powered bird-legged lights be on a balcony railing? The adorable designs are by Berlin-based Michael Hilgers of Rephorm.

The orange-legged bird balls come in the sun charged version, a model that holds tea light candles and yes, there is also a steel globe version for use as an ashtray.

They are delightful as they are, but can’t you see little add-on beaks and eyes for personality?
