Robert Pattinson and Twilight fans who were upset about news of a Filipino TV adaptation of the vampire film should be relieved to know that the news was a hoax.
There is no such adaptation by ABS-CBN channel in the works and Robert Pattinson will stay the only Edward Cullen for now.
After the news broke on the web on numerous media blogs, Buzzbox clarified with ABS-CBN Corporate Communication Head Bong Osorio and ABS-CBN Television Head Cory Vidanes who stated, “There is no plan for ABS-CBN to remake ‘Twilight’."
And there you have it. Now you can safely go back to playing with your Robert Pattinson action figure…
