Architectural Fashion Editorials

Human Building Blocks in Dazed & Confused

Fashion meets architecture in Dazed & Confused’s “Human Building Blocks” fashion editorial in the October 2008 issue of the magazine.

Photographer Ben Toms uses the graphic forms of the new season’s menswear, with the help of stylist Robbie Spencer, as human building blocks in a nod to the 1920’s Bauhaus performance art (see image #10).

After some quick research, I found that the Bauhaus performance art explored relationships between space, sound and light. I think the editorial captured that essence with great photography and excellent art direction.
