The Discovery Channel is debuting a new show called 'Prototype This!' about inventions and prototypes on October 15th. It is hoped to attract the same viewers that watch Mythbusters, another Discovery Channel show.
The show will give viewers an inside look at the design process of new inventions, evolving from the idea stage into actual prototypes.
The Prototype This! team includes electrical engineer and inventor Joe Grand, special effects guru Terry Sandin and robot and computer expert Dr. Zoz Brooks.
The team will tackle a new challenge each week, such as the task to invent and prototype an inflatable car, an all-terrain six-legged robot that carries people, and a road-rage proof vehicle.
