Diesel at Miami Fashion Week

Diesel showed its inaugural swimwear collection, going with the varsity look by adding props such as baseball helmets, boxing gloves, football pads and other gear.

Diesel kicked off the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami. Diesel's women's swimwear line had over 120 different pieces.

The Italian fashion house broke tradition by (shudder) asking the masses to actually huddle outside as the Diesel models walked on water - a catwalk built over the pool.

The cropped football jackets look almost like the male answer to the gladiator fashions so popular in women's fashion these days.
