Ads by the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation Spark Conversation

Working to help start widespread conversation around the topic of race and politics, the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation (AIEF) has recently run a print campaign that features a painting of an Indigenous prime minister that's emblazoned with the slogan "This will never happen." The advertisement comes about as part of a new marketing campaign to start a conversation regarding race relations in Australia amidst unsettling new research that reveals a whopping two thirds of those polled believe they'll never see an Indigenous prime minister take office.

Paired with the hashtag #IndigenousPM, the AIEF campaign is an ongoing attempt movement to help break down the perceived barriers for everyone in the country -- regardless of race -- and help connect the people on a more universal basis. With a solid dollar amount of funding attained, the AIEF will continue on with future campaigns to help spark change.
