The work of a South African advertising agency, the Walking Dead calendar is helping to promote the show across the country and switch up perceptions of swimsuit spreads. Each model is photographed on the beach wearing a bikini, but they have been transformed to take on a zombie-like look. These two features are not only completely opposite, but also cause onlookers to take a second glance. The ladies have been transformed with bloody gashes and undead eyes, features sure to please die-hard fans.

The Walking Dead originally appeared as a comic and has gone on to spawn not only the hit TV series, but also a video game and many fan-tastic items.
