ImprovEverwhere Executes a Black Friday Prank That Redefines Deals

Black Friday is a day where people rush to stores hoping to score the best bargains in town; for comedians it is the perfect opportunity for a Black Friday prank. The comedy troupe ImprovEverywhere gathered together to put on a prank revolving around crazed people lining up to anticipate for the opening of a 99-cent-store.

100 people, equipped with tents and the like lined up early in the morning to wait for its doors to open. Once they did, they screamed out in excitement and quickly rushed in to grab the best deals in town, no sale required. The improve troupe made it appear even more real as they hired a woman to impersonate a news woman.

As if the irony of people lining up to a store that is already incredibly cheap wasn't funny enough, it was the perplexed expressions of passerbys that really makes the Black Friday prank great. Such comments as " Let me try to understand this" or "this is the first time in all my life that I have seen people line up to the 99-cent store" says it all.
