Highlighter-Hued Runway Eyeliner

Laura Siegel's Spring 2013 Line Features Bright Cosmetics

Designer Laura Siegel's Spring 2013 line was presented at the 2012 Toronto Fashion Week. Queen Street West's The Burroughs Building hosted Siegel's collection alongside those of Chloé Comme Parris, Label Clothing, Cara Cheung and Kalxon Howl, ushering in a new who's who roster in the Canadian style scene.

Siegel's Spring 2013 pieces take from tribal wear. The boho-chic pieces are ridden with patterns and relaxed cuts, slumping loosely on the bodies of the models. Chunky beaded necklaces added to the traditional, ethnic spirit of the show, pairing earthy green and yellow tones with walnut browns.

The set's intense arresting elements stemmed from Siegel's brazen cosmetic display. Highlighter-hued pinks and oranges lined the eyes of the women, drawing out futuristic fashion elements.
