A recent collaboration between theberrics.com and Quiksilver has resulted in a video entitled QUIK by Colin Kennedy. I cannot stress enough how well-filmed this video is, and how it perfectly captures the essence of suburban street skating.
This video comes with an extensive list of production members, which is no surprise once you watch the video for yourself. QUIK was directed by Colin Kennedy and Marc Ritzema is the man behind the camera. The film follows skatboarder Austyn Gillette as he skates through the east side of Los Angeles and downtown streets going at extremely high speeds.
The best parts about this short film are the fact that the entire video was shot from a moving vehicle, so viewers get to see many smooth shots of Austyn going through sidewalks and pedestrian-filled neighborhoods.
