Non-Profit Collaboration-Enabling Groups play_circle_filled

The Taproot Foundation is an American non-profit organization targeting social issues by enabling meaningful partnerships between skilled business professionals and non-profits who need their help. Founder and President of the Taproot Foundation Aaron Hurst has been apart of the burgeoning social enterprise movement over the past 15 years and aims to engage important organizations and equip them with the tools to tackle pressing social concerns.

With five offices spread between the metropolises of New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., the Foundation operates a service grant program that has engaged business professionals in over 1 million hours of pro bono service on over 2,000 projects since the initiative's inception in 2001.

The non-profit's core values are illustrated in the foundation's namesake as they seek to serve as the core or "taproot" of the non-profit sector.
