These modern typewriter comebacks accentuate the ways in which styles and technology are on a continuous loop. Regardless of how much innovation will be accomplished, there will always be those looking backwards and nostalgic for a simpler time. This, however, means that these are the same people who can merge the past and present.
Rarely is a typewriter used for the actual purpose of typing anymore. Computers and laptops have proved themselves far superior in efficiency. However, used as creators of art, sound, home decor, used parts and more, typewriters have made a comeback. Some inventive people have been able to use them as shelves, inspiration for creative food designs and more. Others have re-interpreted the typewriter design to fit the module of a new computer, tablet or other breakthrough technology.
