Anyone can become a 'published' artist thanks to The Sketchbook Project. A unique collection at Brooklyn Art Library in New York City, this project allows people of all walks of life to fill a 32 page notebook with whatever crosses their minds from doodles to sketches and other content.
Founded by Sheilla Sumayang in collaboration with Art House Co-op, The Sketchbook Project is currently comprised of 12,500 sketchbooks from 130 countries. The project is heading on a 14 city tour in the very near future and anticipates an additional 7,500 books will make their way onto Brooklyn Art Library's shelves.
For $25, anyone can participate in the The Sketchbook Project, which allows strangers to share their inner thoughts and creativity with other strangers.
