The 'Facebook Pro: Site No Longer Free' Mocks the Social Platform

The day that Facebook begins charging for its services is an inevitable one. To ease the worry and to add some comedic relief to a daunting situation, comedy site Jest has created the 'Facebook Pro: Site No Longer Free' parody. This parody pokes fun at Facebook's greedy and ruthless nature, while also examining what Facebook would look like if consumers had to pay for their accounts. Throughout the parody this video tackles the question of what Facebook would look like if it charged $9.99/month for its services -- and trust me, it's not a pretty sight.

The parody video introduces Sheryl Sandberg as a fake Facebook Chief Operating Officer who sarcastically gives an overview of the new and improved features. While Sandberg attempts to justify why Facebook now charges for its serves, she berates Mark Zuckerberg for being greedy and consumers for being such cheapskates.

This video attempts to show social media users what Facebook would look like if it focused only on its short-term money making goals and completely screwed over its consumer base.
