The OC SS12 Part 1 is Hurtful in Many Ways

Love hurts, literally, as the OC SS12 Part 1 demonstrates.

When one partner has their heart broken and another takes a tumble down the stairs, the age-old drama between two young lovers becomes absurd and satirical in these shocking shorts. Fashion retailer Opening Ceremony, known for incorporating well-established designer brands and artists from all over the world with up-and-coming American talent in its showrooms, has collaborated with the French film directors at AB/CD/CD to showcase the new Spring/Summer 2012 collection in a series of three short films.

These mini videos star Manuel Vallade, Zoë Le Ber, and a not-so-realistic dummy that happens to take the fall in these surprisingly refreshing re-enactments of scenes from plays by Jean Luc Godard such as Le Mépris. The cute Parisian-chic clothes feature flouncy skirts and striped tops, along with the obvious use of the dummy, which lends an air of light-hearted humor.
