'Odland' by Lorenzo Papace Takes Viewers on a Ride Through a Reverie

The animated video 'Odland' by Lorzenzo Papace is nothing short of fantastic. The stop-motion animation is composed of various figures, vehicles and colorful environments all made out of paper.

The song accompanying the video is “Østersøen” by Ödland, a beautifully whimsical French tune sung by Alizée Bingöllü. The melodious chorus of Bingöllü's voice complements the dreamlike narrative of the story perfectly, the entire short looks and feels like a child's enchanting dream.

Throughout the short the environment continues to shift and transform from one intricate location into another. Moving the audience and the protagonist throughout the dreamscape is a series of continuously morphing modes of transportation, predominately a boat and a train. 'Odland' by Lorzenzo Papace has the aesthetics of a real-time version of a Dr. Seuss story, both are incredibly imaginative and charming.
