Cinematic Canine Choirs

Volkswagen Bark Side Commercial is a Howling Rendition of Imperial March

Automotive titans Volkswagen unveiled a tempting teaser of its upcoming Super Bowl commercial cleverly entitled the Bark Side. The adorably nerdy epic was created by the advertising agency Deutsch. The side-splitting add features a group of dogs of all breeds barking out a good rendition of the 'Imperial March' theme from the movie Star Wars, which I'm sure Super Bowl fans will love.

Some of the fuzzy members of the choir even dressed the part. A sweet-looking terrier sports an Ewok-style costume and, just a row back from this charmer is an even hairier canine Chewbacca impersonator. The howling chorus is brought to a stirring finale when a greyhound dressed as AT-AT is unleashed. It's clear Volkswagen has once again captured the heart of nerds everywhere, providing them with adequate reward for sitting through a football game.

Adorable, nerdy and clever to boot, the Bark Side Volkswagon commercial is for dog-lovers and nerds alike.
