Bizarre Prints in High Demand

Check out the new print ad for the uber exclusive Prada Fairy. Prada stated that boutiques will receive a limited number of the bags and pre-orders are not an option. The Prada Fairies Bag is available in two sizes, with the smaller version retailing for $2290 and the larger for $2490.

The bag takes its design from the Florid wallpaper designed by LA artist James Jean in conjuction with the SS/08 Donna Show. Prada says about Florid “it represents the somewhat perverse intersection between Hieronymus Bosch and Aubrey Beardsley. The image depicts an intense landscape of man-eating flowers, dragons, hybrid creatures and eerie fairies.”

The huge 17 x 200 feet Florid wallpaper is hanging in the Beverly Hills and Soho Epicenter stores.
