The McLaren MP4-12 Lets You Pre-Select Your Next Gear

The McLaren MP4-12 is a new masterpiece, armed with new, high-tech engineering to compete with the Ferrari 458. It has an extremely sleek, comfortable and elegant curve, and certainly pleases modern day views on aesthetics.

The chassis is made from a Carbon MonoCell entitled 12C MonoCell. The slender structure has been designed to make the vehicle more maneuverable. It uses a 3.8 litre V8 which produces 600hp due to its twin turbo chargers. It can accelerate from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of just over 200mph.

The new gearbox has the most interesting highlight. Using a Seamless Shift Gearbox, the driver can half press one of the shift paddles to preselect the next gear ahead of a downshift or up shift.
