The New Packaging Design for Mac's Brewery Beer Selections is Seriously Groovy

Mac's Brewery beer, a New Zealand-based brand, is well-known down under for its exceedingly flavorful selection of beers. The company recently enlisted graphic design company Shine to make over the brand's packaging presentations. This resulted in Mac's Brewery Beer receiving an unusual style of alcohol branding. Each bottle has been painted in a metallic, bronze-like hue and features textured glass on the top half of the bottle. The textured ridges not only look highly appealing, they also give beer drinkers a firmer grip on their bottles.

Mac's Brewery beer is available in a wide variety of unique flavors such as 'Sassy Red Best Bitter' and 'Spring Tide Lower-Carb Lager.'

Implications - Today's consumer is not impressed with aesthetic enhancements that serve no purpose.
