Susanne Stemmer's Jil Sander Series Seems Modeled by Mannequins

The Jil Sander photo series clearly takes advantage of the latest fashion fad of color-blocking. More often than not, this popular style has been embraced more by womenswear than menswear, but this intriguing series breaks the mold.

Shot by Vienna-based fashion photographer Susanne Stemmer, the Jil Sander photo series lets the colorful attire take over the entire shoot. Not only is the set incredibly minimalist with only a white backdrop, but the models themselves also take on a mannequinlike persona. Their vacant looks and stiff postures really make the viewers focus on the fashion pieces rather than anything else. The fashion itself is rather basic besides its colorfulness.
