Volkswagen is preparing America for the launch of the new Beetle by releasing the limited-edition Black Turbo Launch Edition Beetle. This badass Bug is limited to 600 models and is designed to show America that the Bug is back, and it's totally badass.
When I say badass, I mean 200 horsepower, 2.0-liter dual-clutch transmission and 18-inch alloy wheels badass. The interior of the car is also worth mentioning as it features both iPod and BlueTooth connectivity, and eight speaker surround sound system, an extra glove box and sport seats. VW's new car is also notable as it is the first Volkswagen that can be pre-ordered using the car companies new online system. A deposit of $495 (put towards the purchase of the car) is required, and the Black Turbo Launch Edition Beetle itself is expected to cost around $25,000.
