Thai Safe Sex Ad Uses Spiders, Snakes

If having sex with a spider or a scorpion wasn’t enough to scare you into wearing a condom, this Thai PSA campaign, which portrays male organs as snakes and spiders, just might be.

The SuanYai Medical clinic collaborated with DRAFTFCB, Thailand on these prints that show vicious snakes and spiders with their mouth sewn shut, rendering them virtually harmless.

The ads come with the tagline, “Powerful but not harmful. Use condoms.”

I love how the ads cater to male insecurities by assuring them their organs will still be ‘powerful’, just not harmful and deadly.

Brilliant.

The ads were done with creative directors Kingrak Ingkawat, & Chaiyasit Simasathien, art directors Vilaporn Eiamsam-ang, Eknarin Suksa, & Chanisorn Ampairatanapon, and copywriters Krit Sarakosol & Tassanachai Jullapolpinit.
