Fashion week isn't just to showcase new looks for adults; we've seen shows for pets, so the fact that Dubai held a Kids Fashion Week doesn't really come as much of a shock. The event was part of the week-long Dubai Summer Surprises 2008 event at Dubai Festival City in July.
The fashion show included two Emirates designers, Hind Al Gazzal and Sumay Al Hamadi and 12 major international brands. The young models sported designer labels like names like Kenzo, United Colours of Benetton, Sisley, Moschino, Blumarine, Miss Grant & GF, Jacadi, and Souris Mini.
