Slavery Theme Parks

Michael Jackson's Brother Launches Controversial Entertainment Venue

In an apparent attempt to be weirder than his brother, Marlon Jackson has announced plans for a slavery theme park.

Oh. That sound you heard was the collective squealing of delight from children all over the world.

The brother of Michael and former Jackson Five member has big plans for the proposed luxury resort in Nigeria; it will have casinos, golf courses, and a Jackson Five Museum, complete with holograms and animatronic displays.

And then there's the giant slave ship.

Implications - Marion Jackson is drawing heat for these decisions from the local community. "It is not appropriate from a cultural or historical point of view," Nigerian historian Toyin Faiola told the BBC.

Jermaine, Tito, Janet -- maybe it's time you step in.
