There were amazingly wonderful layers at th eMarc Jacobs S/S ready-to-wear 09 New York runway show. I love these summer straw hats, high waisted belts and sparkling layer-upon-layer looks.
In Mr. Jacobs’ own words, the collection is about the joy of dressing up, which one can only agree with. I am truly swept away by these bright colors and contemporary hay stack chic prairie skirts, chunky jewelry, sashed belts and metallic shine.
At Style.com they call the runway style, a mash-up mix. “Mary Poppins goes to Dubai. The King and I meets The Postman Always Rings Twice.”
