Fashionista Music Videos

Beyonce is a Gareth Pugh ‘Diva'

Beyoncé Knowles is tugging at the heartstrings of fashionistas in the music video for her new song ‘Diva’ by parading in fashion-forward pieces from the fresh yet highly acclaimed designer Gareth Pugh.

Beyonce recently hinted at her love for the sculptural-fashion design by wearing cyber-punk Pugh pieces at the MTV Europe Music Awards. However, the diva-designer love affair goes to overdrive in the music video with a display of numerous Gareth Pugh creations that most fashionistas would kill to get their hands on.

In addition to the fashion element, the video, which is directed by Melina Matsoukas, continues the ‘Beyonce as a mannequin’ theme we recently saw in V Magazine by Bruce Weber.

On a different note, Beyonce is reportedly collaborating with one of the most acclaimed names in fashion, Thierry Mugler, for her upcoming tour. The collaboration will mark Thierry Mugler’s official return to fashion after a long hiatus.
