Mitch Fanning is a new media professional, entrepreneur (intrapreneur), and blogger who has worn â€œmany hatsâ€ during his 10-year professional career. That being said, he is most recognized for his ability to close deals, lead, and help clients (both startups and national brands) with integrated marketing strategy and execution.
Mitch has sold, led and collaborated on the strategy and launch of a very diverse portfolio of web and mobile projects, online acquisition programs, applications, and integrated online media campaigns for direct clients and agency partners throughout North America including: Globe & Mail, Sears Travel, Rogers Retail, Deutsche Bank, NBC, and Nestle.
Mitch also has a passion for innovation, emerging media, and working in a â€œstartup environmentâ€ and has used his marketing, entrepreneurial, and investment experience to raise seed capital, develop strategy and business practices, build teams/partnerships, and launch new products/services.
Mitch received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications as well as an athletic scholarship from Simon Fraser University. When not brainstorming ideas, collaborating to put deals together, or writing he can be found in the kitchen cooking his famous risotto, taking pictures or watching a movie.
