Universal Works Joins Yogi Footwear on a New Capsule

Nottingham-based imprint Universal Works joins forces with Yogi Footwear on a new range of footwear that is defined by the fashion imprint's Far From Memphis capsule. The range stems from the inspiration of shared ideas of style, comfort, and craftsmanship. There are five shoes that join the range including two of the chunky ranger-like Funn Moc by Yogi Footwear.

Its Hitch shoe also joins the capsule with a low-top silhouette and slip-on version that has an “undercurrent of playful experimentation.” The capsule is joined by a short film to honor the collaboration by capturing the cinematics to showcase feelings throughout life when no one is watching. David Ketye, co-founder of Universal Works comments on the range, “I have a genuine love of Yogi. They really do make something that can provide the comfort of a sneaker whilst fulfilling the need for a proper shoe. That’s easier said than done, but Yogi always manages to pull it off.”
