Tropically Casual Menswear

The Woolrich Woolen Mills SS 2015 Collection Gets Steamy

Designer Mark McNairy has taken the Woolrich Woolen Mills SS 2015 collection in a more tropical direction than seasons past.

However, McNairy still pored through the brand’s archives when he went looking for inspiration, eventually deciding to remix the brand’s past looks, while continuing to innovate with print, color and silhouette. The collection taps into the tropical look through the use of motif; there is no shortage throughout the offerings, from Martinique leaves and toucans to an invigorated take on camouflage.

McNairy mostly stuck to his tried-and-true signatures when it came to outerwear, but incorporated some new styles such as drop-bottom shorts and pants. Overall, the brand’s Spring/Summer offerings for 2015 are an inspired mix of new and old that will excite and, most importantly, satisfy its loyal fans.
