Sony has released its latest set of wired studio headphones specializing in spatial audio called the MDR-MV1. Sony Electronics senior product manager Andy Munitz said: "With the rise in spatial sound and high-quality streaming music services, we are seeing a professional demand for headphones that can adaptably address and enrich all of these immersive production needs."
The MDR-MV1 is a set of lightweight headphones with breathable earpads designed to assist in producing spatial audio. The headphones come with a set of dynamic drivers with a frequency range of 5Hz to 80kHz. The headphones also come with ultra-wideband playback and an open-back structure design that reduces internally reflected sounds while eliminating acoustic resonances, which, as a result, accurately reproduces natural, rich spatial information and sounds. The headphones are available for purchase.
