Combative Transformer Editorials

The W August 2014 Who's the Boss Photoshoot is Aggressive

The W Magazine August 2014 Who's the Boss editorial introduces literal transformers into the fashion fold. Photographer Steven Klein captured pops of blue and silver as the robotic structure strutted around the high fashion set, doing away with all one knows about boundaries in the fashion world.

Despite the highly futuristic nature of Who's the Boss, stylist Edward Enninful made use of classic fashion elements that speak to the past as opposed to what's to come. This was seen in sleek black suits and clean black dresses, pieces that are perhaps best suited to cocktail parties or gala affairs as opposed to a dual between humankind and androids.

Futuristic elements were present however via the cosmetics of make up professional Sammy Mourabit. In each shot, Mourabit opted for dark lipstick, thick brows and pale cheeks.
