Duplex Camper Designs

Sunlight’s Vanlife Camper Adopts a Duplex Layout but Reduces Daytime Seating

The Sunlight Vanlife camper introduces a three-room, duplex-style layout that brings architectural clarity to van living. A pop-up roof bedroom is accessed via a storage-integrated staircase, separating sleeping quarters from the living area. The living zone below flexes between remote work setup, dining area, and convertible sleeping space. One trade-off is the fully partitioned cab, which sacrifices additional seating for privacy and thermal comfort while camping.

Despite the compact 5.40-meter footprint, the separated layout enhances spatial perception and functionality. Amenities include a wet bathroom with a fold-away sink, outward-extending shower, and bench toilet. The kitchen is compact yet thoughtful, featuring a dual-burner stove with a flip-up worktop and a 64L fridge tucked beneath the stairs. With 100L of fresh water storage, a 90L waste tank, and a 95Ah rechargeable battery, the camper supports extended adventures.
