Nudevertising is often criticized for overusing skin and sex to sell products. But just like any marketing technique, when used appropriately and done right, nudevertising can yield great results.
The Adidas photography series by photographer David Ellingsen with Canadian model Tym Roders is an example of effective nudevertising.
Ellingsen captured a naked Roders showcasing his perfectly toned athletic body while wearing a pair of Adidas sneakers only.
The fact that Tym is naked with a minimalistic white background keeps the focus on the shoes, since there are no other accessories or clothes items to distract.
