Concept Vinyl Turntables

The Turntable (1) is a Record Player Inspired by Nothing's Design

The Turntable (1) concept is a record player created by industrial design student Sungwoo Choi as an unofficial interpretation of how a Nothing-branded turntable could look. The design adopts the company's transparent aesthetic through acrylic accents, a white chassis and aluminium details while dividing the deck into clearly defined functional zones. A transparent platter rim, machined tonearm and circular mounting system highlight the mechanical components, reflecting the visual identity associated with Nothing's consumer electronics.

The concept incorporates recessed controls for record size and playback speed alongside a large volume dial framed by a transparent ring. A dot-matrix display labelled "MUSIC-AR," integrated speakers and dedicated power and playback buttons create a self-contained listening system. The product name follows Nothing's established naming convention, suggesting a broader hardware lineup despite having no official connection to the brand.
