Gemstone-Adorned Timepieces

Jacquie Aiche and Timex Join Forces to Launch 'The Mineral Collection'

American watchmaker Timex has partnered with jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche to launch 'The Mineral' collection, a limited-edition series of watches that centers around the use of semi-precious gemstones. The stones used in the watches are said to have natural healing properties.

The new collection is comprised of a trio of timepieces that feature dials made with Malachite, Tiger's Eye -- stones thought to offer protective, empowering, and enlightening powers. In addition, each piece features an Austrian crystal hour marker, a real stone dial, and Jacquie Aiche's signature evil eye motif.

“Our partnership with Jacquie Aiche can be summed up as ‘luxury with a soul,’ said Giorgio Galli, Chief Executive Creative Director of Timex Group. “Her designs are thoughtfully crafted and meaningful; a perfect alignment with the Timex vision for our women’s portfolio."
