Solar Point and Shoot Camera

The Sun&Cloud Digital Camera Can Be Charged by the Sun or Hand Crank

Japan's own Superheadz has just released the Sun&Cloud digital camera, a camera that can be charged in two eco-friendly ways.

The boxy camera can be charged by the sun or a hand crank. The solar option requires the camera to be left in direct sunlight for 12 hours. Charging with the hand crank is a bit more time intensive, with Superheadz saying that a speed of 100 to 150 cranks per minute will give four to eight shots.

In addition to its eco street cred the Sun&Cloud digital camera also has 15 different filters, an LED light and shortcut buttons. If eco-friendly options take too long, the camera can always be charged via a USB cable.
