Retro Sci-Fi Artwork

These Star Wars Doodles Offer a Silly Perspective of the Franchise

Artist Ian Glaubinger released a small series of humorous Star Wars doodles featuring various characters and scenarios. The retro cartoon style and bright colors of these drawings is fun and enjoyable. The most amusing of the pictures is the one of a storm trooper wearing a Mickey Mouse hat, as a nod to Disney’s new ownership of the Star Wars franchise. There are also shots of Darth Vader, bounty hunter Bobba Fett and Chewbacca, who’s poster proudly proclaims ‘What a Wookie.' The posters are simple but stylish and colorful.

These Star Wars doodles celebrate an iconic film series, scenes and set of characters. Bobba Fett is posed with his iconic gun, and Vader is using the force, for example. These posters celebrate our favorite characters and poke gentle fun at the future.
