IWC Schaffhausen has a long history of aviation-themed watches, and it has created a Spitfire Edition of its Timezoner watch, inspired by the planes' longest flight. For the "Longest Flight" expedition a restored British Spitfire will undergo its longest flight ever, driven by two British pilots. The Spitfire will take off in Goodwood Aerodome, from there it will travel 43,000 km. In support of the aviation effort, IWC Schaffhausen has created its Spitfire Edition Timezoner watch.
The watch features a 46m stainless steel case and an IWC automatic self-winding movement system. Which can function on its own power reserve for a total of 60 hours. The watch features a timezoner function, which displays a world timer. The strap of the watch is a military green design that measures in at 22mm. The watch is currently available for a $13,754 price point.
