Revived Archival Skate Sneakers

Vans Brings Back the Speed LS Sneaker Model with a Modern Update

Vans reintroduced the Speed LS sneaker model -- it was first introduced as a part of the women's skate line during the Fall of 1998. It was revived by Supreme in a collaborative project back in June 2023 and is reissued once again for this Spring season.

The silhouette has a street skating appeal that aligns with the late 90s and the update uses fast paneling throughout the upper to create a layered look. The upper features a fusion of mesh and suede to retain elements of the original design. Other details include the branding on the molded tongue and the contemporary mid-90s cupsole. The dramatic Sidestripe details the side of the shoe for an exaggerated finish.
