Under Armour Designed Space Clothing for Virgin Galactic Passengers

Under Armour recently revealed space clothing which was designed to be worn under the spacesuits of passengers on Virgin Galactic flights. In order to create the space clothing Under Armour made slight alterations to its UA Rush material, which is a fabric that is infused with minerals. Under Armour currently uses a similar fabric for athletic clothing, and it states that the material will help regulate temperature and deal with sweat.

Under Armour states that all of its space clothing went through a number of different tests with pilots, spaceship engineers as well as medical professionals.

The clothing features dark blue colors that contrast with gold and the gold colors take inspiration from sunlight rays. The boots feature a slim design, which is derived from the footwear of racecar drivers.
