SOLO Eyewear x Raw Artists Shades are Philanthropically Stylish

The SOLO Eyewear x RAW Artists collaboration is an exclusive design initiative. Custom pairs of the charity Solo lenses were personally altered by the talented craftsmen from the independent San Diego RAW Artists.

The result of the artistic endeavor was a collection of statement-making bamboo frames that incorporated imaginative swoops depicting each artist’s personal style. Participant Jason Acton chose to decorate bold yellow frames with patterned strips of fabric. Wrapping them around the lenses in succession formed a line of different textured waves. Kari Powell’s frames contained enticing tribal engravings, with pleasing turquoise spheres trailing along the sides of the wood.

SOLO Eyewear is a philanthropic organization from which customers are able to purchase a pair of stylish shades and the proceeds go towards a pair of glasses or much needed eye surgery for an individual in need. The SOLO Eyewear x Raw Artists project added flavor to glasses that were already infused with good-natured fashionable flair.
