Tiffany & Co. Debuts Its Rope Solar-Powered Watches

— May 18, 2025 — Luxury
Tiffany & Co. has introduced a significant horological advancement with its 'Rope' timepieces, marking the brand's first foray into solar-powered watchmaking. The new line reinterprets the maison's iconic twisted rope motif through contemporary watch design, featuring 18k yellow gold cases with diamond-accented bezels available in two sizes. The aesthetic is sure to immediately capture the eye of discerning luxury fashion enthusiasts. Tiffany & Co.'s Rope collection offers aesthetic versatility with dial options of white mother-of-pearl or glossy black, paired with coordinating alligator straps.

The innovative solar mechanism of the timepieces was made possible through a collaboration with Swiss movement specialist La Joux-Perret. The solar-powered watches are capable of an exceptional eight-month power reserve from a full charge. This is considered to be a rare achievement in jewelry watches.
